Singtel SMS Shooutout 2006

I went for the selection yesterday and I clocked my best timing at 49.6secs and went to the Semi Finals.

This morning, I broke my own record at 45.6secs and I made it to the top 10. The best timing for the semi final was just 45.3secs by this year's winner who broke the world's record.

The final was very tensed up, lots of flash light, camera and video recorder facing you, with lots of reporters around you, I feel like I'm a SMS superstar for a few seconds. I made an invalid timing for both the attempt at the final, I thought I clocked at 44secs, not just me, everyone did, the reporters and camera were all at me when I raised my hand, but who knows!?! The reply from the system is a "mismatch". I typed "the" instead of "they". Everyone was disappointed. Eliminated 250+ people at selection, trashed 40 ppl during semi-final and got send off by 1 letter.

Anyway, I got a Motorola Rker E2 hp, which worth $588, anyone wanna buy? It's like very useless to me leh, oh ya, and a free Hicard which means I got another number.

I promised myself to train hard and prepare well next year and I'm aiming to break the world's record.
